Giving Tuesday

Tuesday December 1st is a dedicated day just for Giving! Around the world people of all types are getting together to celebrate generosity and giving. What will you be giving on GivingTuesday?

Giving can come in many forms. It can be done by generously donating to an organization, joining a group, dedicating time, or even supporting their causes!

Members of the CCAA have been dedicated active members of the community and have suggested some organizations that they have given to. You can give to these organizations too!

CCL-https://citizensclimatelobby.org/

“Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.”

Say Yes Syracuse! –http://www.sayyessyracuse.org/

“Say Yes Syracuse is a chapter of Say Yes to Education, Inc., a non-profit foundation committed to dramatically increasing high school and college graduation rates for urban students. Since 2008, Say Yes Syracuse and community of caring, committed people have devoted time, money and resources to provide holistic, year-round support to our students throughout their K-12 years and beyond”

Vet Ranch Rescue – http://vetranchrescue.org/

“Vet Ranch is now a non-profit organization funded solely by our viewers’ generous donations.   Whether it’s $1 or $1000, your donation is greatly needed and greatly appreciated.  I am now working with rescue groups who have dogs and cats waiting for treatment.  Let’s fix them all!”

Wikipedia- https://www.wikipedia.org/

“Wikipedia is one of the most visited websites in the world. Commerce is fine. Advertising is not evil. But it doesn’t belong here. Not in Wikipedia. Wikipedia is something special. It is like a library or a public park. It is like a temple for the mind. It is a place we can all go to think, to learn, to share our knowledge with others.”

There are many many more organizations that you can give to. What other organizations will you be giving to? Let us know what you will be doing for #givingtuesday!
