Climate Change Awareness & Action (CCAA) is in need of Volunteers to join us in our new Project:
Explore Our Energy Future

Sat., April 23rd from 11am to 3pm, Climate Change Awareness and Action is organizing a self-guided tour of commercial, residential, municipal, educational, farming and transportation sites that have fossil free sources of energy such as solar, geothermal and wind in their energy mix. The sites will be located within Onondaga County.
CCAA’s goal is to educate the community about climate change and what needs to be done now to give the next generation the same chance at a stable climate.
Volunteers will act as hosts, welcoming guests, giving a brief presentation about the work of CCAA and collecting contact information for individuals visiting the site who want to be kept apprised of our work. We will provide all materials. A few weeks after the tour we will have a pot luck, post-op meeting. Over food and drink we will assess how the day went. If you can make it this will give you a fun opportunity to meet other individuals concerned about the issue of climate change.
